In the season of giving the Badass Ladies have been finding out how you can create real change this Christmas in a personal way!
Anna is a case worker at Beam, she explains what this social enterprise is doing differently to make direct impact to the lives of homeless people. They are using crowd sourcing in a really unique way, members of the public use the website to donate money directly to people to fund their unique journey out of homeless, this could be helping with childcare costs, tuitions or travel to work.
Also in the studio is Decoda, she was helped back into college by the donations she received through her Beam campaign, she has been updating the people who helped her on the progress she has made every step of the way and now, she has graduated from college, found a job as a social worker and hopes to attend university in the near future.
