Cupertino Season 1, Episode 4, "AJ and Buddy," trades the Beau storyline for a wild side quest into prediction markets. A one-night stand lands Christie on a private jet bound for St. Kitts with AJ, founder of the betting site Wager Mode. Meanwhile, Michael and Olivia hunt for his retainer in a closet full of Nike boxes and a kitchen full of baking powder, right before the cops show up. Marissa and Jason dig into Olivia's first brush with criminal law, Michael's real talk on dealing with police, the legal screen that splits the firm's clients, and the DA's warning about betting markets and election interference. Plus, Natalia moves into the office, rewrites the partnership, and Nicole arrives with a cease and desist over Beau.
