Bethany Cosentino, fka Best Coast, is a musician from Glendale, CA. Her debut solo record, Natural Disaster, is out today. We chat about getting a nice pump, overall-wearing cronies, our show in Toronto is tonight, her mom used to make her kombucha, being proposed to at The Americana, she defends her built-in straw having hydro flask, the pleasures of getting something on sale, we try to figure out which actor-slash-musician she’s had a session with, switching to solo mode, morning pages, our connection to cows, being a sort of real estate mogul, and she steamrolls sync-talk to head straight for the pills.
