Sean Avery is back with Episode 3 of The Sean Avery Show — and this week, he's talking NHL fashion, Connor Bedard, Dylan Larkin, Trevor Zegras, hockey cards, no-trade clauses and more!
Sean Avery breaks down Connor Bedard's first season as captain of the Chicago Blackhawks and has some strong opinions about how an NHL captain — especially the captain of an Original Six franchise — should look and carry himself. He also takes aim at Dylan Larkin and the Detroit Red Wings, Trevor Zegras' jersey tuck, NHL equipment rules and the changing culture around hockey players.
Plus, Sean talks about the San Jose Sharks, Gavin McKenna, Macklin Celebrini, the New York Rangers, Igor Shesterkin, Brock Faber's injury, the explosion of NHL trading cards and why he's buying up his own Sean Avery rookie cards.
Sean also weighs in on no-trade clauses in the NHL and explains why he believes GMs give players too much leverage when they hand out excessive trade protection.
This is The Sean Avery Show — an unfiltered look at hockey, NHL culture, players, personalities and the game from a former NHL player.
