On Thursday’s Leeds View, Joe Gelhardt looks back on his Elland Road years and why he thinks a clean break was right for both sides. We look at Leeds’ run of three games against bottom-six sides before the international break, starting at Sunderland on Sunday, and hear from Sunderland defender Nordi Mukiele, who admits his side are “not good enough”. We go through the left-back picture after reports of Leeds scouts at Porto against PSV, with Zaidu Sanusi, Mauro Júnior and the future of Melvin Bard’s loan, and we cover Geny Catamo and Sunderland’s selection problems.
