Say It Right: Supporting Ukrainian Mental Health During War
In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine and started a war that has not ended as of the date we conducted this interview with Interpreter Anna Vegera. Anna shares her experiences working as a Mental Health Interpreter alongside psychologists and other mental health professionals in a remote setting.
In this episode, we learn about Anna's experience as an interpreter, specifically as an ethnically Russian person supporting displaced Ukrainian people. Some of the people she works with are still in country while others are refugees residing in neighboring countries and beyond.
