Stick to United with Wayne Rooney is back, as Wayne and Mark Goldbridge react to Manchester United’s latest defeat against Chelsea and discuss why Michael Carrick remains in charge.
The pair assess Carrick’s future, question who could realistically replace him and debate whether United are now in a relegation battle.
Wayne gives his verdict on Lisandro Martínez’s red card, explains why the defender needs to back up his words with performances and argues that even Sir Alex Ferguson would struggle with this squad.
Plus, Wayne reveals why he thinks this could be Bruno Fernandes’ last season at Old Trafford, while Mark questions whether United should have sold their captain for £100m+.
Elsewhere, the pair discuss where Matheus Cunha fits into the team, question United’s recruitment and examine the responsibility of INEOS and the Glazers for the club’s struggles.
