The Rollin on D20s crew takes the table live at Ambition Brewing for a special side quest that puts Quinn, Xhenrak, Rylund, and Thistle on a mission unlike anything they’ve tackled before. When an elven tavern keeper discovers that his family’s prized Moonfire Mead recipe has been stolen by a rival goblin brewery, the party is hired to sneak into the brewery, recover the recipe, and, most importantly, try very hard not to start an international incident.
Their journey takes them to Grum Gut Brewery, a goblin-run operation where the streets literally flow with ale and mead, the security system is decidedly explosive, and absolutely nothing goes according to plan. With the help of audience-controlled decisions, questionable disguises, suspicious barrels, and one extremely opinionated goat, the party attempts to infiltrate the brewery without attracting too much attention. Humanity has invented stealth for a reason. These four have apparently chosen to ignore it.
Deep beneath the brewery, the party discovers that there is much more going on than a simple stolen recipe. Strange traps, mysterious brewing mechanisms, hallucination-inducing ingredients, and a whole lot of goblins stand between the adventurers and their objective. Eventually, their investigation leads them to Grabhub, the brewery’s manager, who reveals that the history behind the missing recipe may not be nearly as straightforward as the elves claimed.
Part One of this live side quest brings the chaos, audience interaction, and improvised nonsense of Rollin on D20s directly to Ambition Brewing. With the party now faced with a much bigger mystery than they expected, their search for the Moonfire Mead recipe is only getting started.
