After a disastrous staircase encounter leaves the group scrambling to recover, they discover that the strange magical presence surrounding the ruins is far more powerful than they anticipated. With no easy way back, the only option is to keep moving forward.

Inside the ruins, the group discovers a bizarre chamber filled with strange stone formations, flowing water, and an eerie magical energy. Even stranger, ghostly representations of missing animals appear to be wandering through the room. As the party tries to understand what they’ve stumbled upon, Skigik’s inventive approach to problem-solving and Thistle’s considerably less diplomatic attitude create a combination that is, somehow, both useful and deeply concerning.

What begins as an investigation into missing livestock gradually becomes something much more personal. The ruins seem to hold the remnants of a story stretching back generations, and the party finds themselves caught in the middle of something that blurs the line between magic, memory, and unfinished business. Meanwhile, Cohen’s connection to Thistle continues to raise questions that nobody seems quite prepared to answer.

Part 2 brings this strange little prequel adventure to an unexpectedly heartfelt conclusion, giving Thistle a glimpse into the kind of people, mysteries, and wildly questionable decisions that await her beyond Greenbriar. There are magical ruins, questionable engineering, a very opinionated goat, and at least one moment where the party discovers that sometimes the strangest adventures leave the biggest impression.
","author_name":"Rollin House Productions"}
