This podcast explores one of the most revealing scenes in Men? The Musical—the Personal Elevation event. Jennifer (our lead female character), along with friends Laila and Zahida arrive at the venue expecting a ‘comfortable’ weekend of personal growth and self-discovery. Instead, Jennifer unexpectedly comes face to face with Matthew,
someone she’d hoped never to see again. (remember the blind date chaos scene episode 6?)
What follows is both funny and awkward, however, beneath the humour lies one of the biggest lessons in personal elevation - It often begins with ‘discomfort’. Pamela and Steven discuss how many things in life do we accept without ever questioning them because of discomfort or a fear of change?
