Kimber’s practice moves between textural painting, sculptural relief and installation, exploring the relationship between architecture, memory and surface.</p><p><br></p><p>We discuss how childhood experiences wandering through his father’s Perth nightclubs shaped his fascination with interiors, texture and built environments, and how these memories continue to inform his paintings today.
