More success. More status. More recognition. More possessions. More approval. But what if becoming everything God created you to be isn't about adding anything at all?

In this season finale, we uncover one of the greatest paradoxes of the Christian life: God never dresses us in His glory until He first strips us of ours! God refuses to send an unprepared version of us into a prepared promise. Before He builds His purpose through us, He lovingly tears down everything we've built apart from Him. Every false identity, idol, attachment. Every ornament we've worn to feel valuable without Him.

What ornaments are you still wearing?

Pride? Relationships? 'Self-Made' Identities? Control? The version of yourself you built because you couldn't wait on God?

The Israelites thought they were dressed in gold. God saw chains. The 'harmless' ornaments we justify and cling to are keeping us from experiencing the fullness of God's presence! The tragedy isn't that God wants to strip them away. The tragedy is that we keep holding onto our version of a golden calf...

And here's the reality: God didn't remove Israel's ornaments for them. He told them to strip them off... The surrender has always been our responsibility. To be truly \"Dressed to the Nines\" isn't to wear more, it's to be stripped until ONLY Christ remains, as He dresses you in humility, patience, gentleness, love, grace, and the character of His Spirit. God removes our rags, so He can dress us in His glory. He never strips us to shame us; He strips us to clothe us.

This episode is an invitation to examine what you're wearing spiritually. What have you built on top of Christ? What are you afraid to lay down?

If you ever feel like God is dismantling your life, delaying your next season, or asking you to release things that once defined you, this conversation may completely change how you see His refining hand. Maybe God isn't taking things from you... Maybe He's dressing you.

...And the stripping is almost over!

—

Thank you for walking through this season with us. If this series has encouraged your walk with Christ, share this episode with someone who needs it for their own stripping season.
