He vaccinated his children. Today, he wants vaccines abolished. What changed?
In this episode of The Alix Mayer Show, musician, lifelong activist, and father of two Jeremiah Hosea explains how COVID mandates pushed him from unquestioning acceptance of vaccination to one of its most uncompromising opponents.
Jeremiah says refusing COVID vaccination cost him access to his teaching jobs and music venues, drained his savings, and ultimately ended longstanding friendships. But his first objection wasn’t about vaccine safety. It was about being coerced.
Then he began interviewing doctors and other guests on his radio show, The Bassline. Those conversations changed his position from opposing COVID shots to opposing vaccination altogether. He explains why he now calls himself a “vaccine abolitionist” and credits Dr. Leonard Horowitz with introducing him to the term.
Alix and Jeremiah confront the questions at the center of his advocacy: Why do people who distrust government and corporations defend pharmaceutical companies? Why does compassion disappear when someone reports a vaccine injury? And why did people support excluding the unvaccinated while later declining additional boosters themselves?
Jeremiah also lays out his concept of a “military medical industrial complex,” drawing parallels between casualties of war and people harmed by medical interventions. His central argument: If you don’t have sovereignty over your own body, you’re not a free person.
