Michael Thurmond has had a distinguished career in public service. From serving in the Georgia General Assembly to being appointed Commissioner of the Department of Family and Children Services to serving as Labor Commissioner to serving as the Superintendent of the DeKalb County School District to serving as DeKalb's CEO he has been successful. Now in his campaign for Governor of Georgia, he is once again offering himself for public service. It was indeed a pleasure to speak with him.
