Jim Hawkins is frightened when strange pirates arrive at the inn with a terrifying symbol called the Black Spot. They accuse old Billy Bones of terrible crimes and demand his sea chest. As the pirates argue, Billy collapses and dies, leaving Jim and his mother alone and in danger. Jim bravely grabs the chest and escapes into the night, knowing pirates are close behind. The adventure grows darker, faster, and far more dangerous than before.
