Bottom’s Up! This week’s THiRST TRAP is comedian and content creator Michael Henry!
Michael joins me for a hilarious and unfiltered conversation about gay culture, dating, comedy, and the internet. We get into the differences between Canadian and American gay culture, from Toronto vs. LA nightlife and gay gyms to why Michael says Canadians are nice enough to make him want to move to Canada.
He also gets real about his journey from sketch comedy and stand-up to viral street interviews, how he plans his content, and the videos that blew up — including some of his most unhinged viral moments. We talk about his dream of becoming an actor, why making gay content can sometimes be a tough lane, and what it’s actually like building a career around being unapologetically gay online.
And, of course, we get into his love life. Michael talks about being single, his dating history, what makes Virgo partners difficult, Grindr, relationships becoming more open or closed, and whether sex really can be completely emotionless.
Plus: Soy Boys, gay gym culture, nude tanning, skincare and different types of toxes, foreskin talk, a very chaotic mock street interview.
It’s funny, raunchy, very gay, and a perfect introduction to the man behind some of the internet’s funniest street interviews.
Stay THiRSTY!
