From coaching alongside Penny Hardaway and Larry Brown at Memphis to leading Mongolia’s SG Apes, Garrett Kelly has taken an unconventional path through international basketball.
Kelly joins Ric Bucher and Greg Stolt on Pacific Rims to reveal why Mongolia’s fiercely competitive pro league is attracting attention, how he built an 8-1 team by rejecting its revolving-door culture, and which emerging Mongolian players could make their mark in American college basketball and the NBA.
Plus, why his player-first coaching philosophy is challenging traditional approaches across Asia.
