With national polling showing 75%–80% of American adults ranking money and inflation among their greatest daily stressors, and nearly 60% living paycheck to paycheck, Kenny explores the emotional, relational, domestic, and spiritual consequences of economic compression.
But beneath the question of “How will I make it?” is a deeper question:
“Where is my security?”
This series finale is both a practical encouragement for families under financial pressure and a prayer alert for the church. Kenny examines how easily financial fear can redirect our attention from the faithfulness of God and reminds us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).

🌊 And That’s the Wave
For ten episodes, we’ve followed the waves—one after another—through the pressures that can leave ordinary Americans exhausted, anxious, divided, overwhelmed, and afraid.
But the final word of Wave Upon Wave isn’t fear.
It’s faith.
The waves may keep coming. The economy may change. The headlines may shift. The world around us may feel uncertain.
But our foundation doesn’t move.
🎧 Listen to the finale, then share it with someone carrying a financial burden who needs to be reminded that their security ultimately rests in something the economy can never take away: the faithful provision of God.
