Finally, they chat about modern etiquette, inspired <a href=\"https://www.thecut.com/article/tipping-rules-etiquette-rules.html\">by The Cut’s piece on the topic.</a></p><p><br></p><p>In Slate Plus,<strong> </strong>the panel talks about the closing of the “World’s Best Restaurant” Noma.   </p><p><br></p><p>Email us at <a href=\"mailto:culturefest@slate.com\">culturefest@slate.com</a>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Endorsements: </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Dana</strong>: I have great, great affection for Jason Segel. Nobody is talking about his children’s books. It’s this series called <a href=\"https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/20172134\"><em>Nightmares!</em></a> that he co-wrote with Kirsten Miller. There are also two sequels. Any kid about 10 or 11 years old can handle them. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Julia</strong>: OG food friend of the program Dan Pashman has followed up his invention of an entirely new pasta shape (<a href=\"https://www.sfoglini.com/collections/cascatelli/products/sporkful\">Cascatelli</a>) in 2021 with the release of two more shapes: <a href=\"https://www.sfoglini.com/collections/cascatelli/products/quattrotini\">Quattrotini</a> and <a href=\"https://www.sfoglini.com/products/vesuvio?pr_prod_strat=copurchase&amp;pr_rec_id=8a14ea3bc&amp;pr_rec_pid=6830533804145&amp;pr_ref_pid=6830465482865&amp;pr_seq=uniform\">Vesuvio</a>. These aren’t inventions, they are less commonly found shapes that he is helping bring to a larger audience of eaters. <a href=\"https://www.sfoglini.com/collections/cascatelli\">Dan is continuing his partnership with Sfoglini and you can buy the shapes on their site</a>. [Producer note: Gluten free people can <a href=\"https://www.eatbanza.com/products/banza-chickpea-cascatelli\">enjoy a gf version that Dan made in partnership with Banza</a>.] </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Stephen</strong>: I enjoyed the Nordic crime series <a href=\"https://tv.apple.com/us/show/the-bridge/umc.cmc.40dzk02967d43x0wuk1cqwg5a\"><em>The Bridge</em></a>. It introduced me to <a href=\"https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0091035/?ref_=tt_cl_t_4\">Kim Bodnis</a>, a great actor Americans would get to know as the assassin handler on <a href=\"https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7016936/\"><em>Killing Eve</em></a>. I finally caught up with the third season and it’s great. </p><p><br></p><p>Podcast production by Cameron Drews.
