Early on, the mountains called him.</p><p>He moved to Colorado to attend college and to climb its big mountains. </p><p>Jim earned a bachelors and Master’s degrees in environmental engineering and has worked cleaning up oil and gasoline spills.</p><p>His climbing career has taken him to Alaska, Argentina, Bolivia and Tibet.
