The party had decided to take a short jump back into the past to set themselves up for success before moving forward with plans to tackle the Sons of the Serpent, as well as others who have dealings in the Vineyard. Kyver said goodbye to his family after a short time together. Rig called on the power of her bracers, and with that, the party skipped back to when they first reached the outskirts of Nymora.
During that time, it was just when the caravan had arrived, and blighted creatures emerged from the forest in pursuit. The party saw young Arnable engage in combat with one of the creatures as they joined forces with him to take down the blighted creatures. Still in disguise, they headed towards the gate and blended into the crowd before looking for another inn to stay for the night. Dropping in at the Lion’s Den Inn, an inn that seemed a little shabby from the outside, they met Minnow, the elderly concierge, who gave them a large room for the night and some knives as welcoming gifts before they headed off to sleep for the night.
