She worked as an actor for several years and founded her own theatre company, building a strong foundation in performance and storytelling.</p><p>Alongside her acting career, Niamh has trained in Shotokan karate since the age of five, achieving a 5th Dan. Her background in martial arts led naturally into stage combat, where an instructor encouraged her to pursue stunt work—an idea that immediately resonated. The combination of performance and physicality proved a perfect fit.</p><p>Since then, she has continued to expand her skill set, embracing the ongoing training required in the stunt industry. A standout moment in her career was performing a full fire burn during the finale of Season 2 of&nbsp;Vikings: Valhalla, leaping from a burning boat into the water on cue—an intense and unforgettable experience.</p>","author_name":"Film Ireland"}
