This practice offers a way to move into a state of deep rest, somewhere between waking and sleeping, where the body can soften and the mind can settle.

We begin by taking time to arrive, allowing the body to relax into awareness. Through gentle movement and attention, you are invited to release tension from different parts of the body, the jaw, shoulders, spine and feet.

As the body loosens, awareness returns to the natural rhythm of the breath. From here, the practice becomes one of resting, allowing calm to move through the body without effort.

This meditation offers a moment of calm, whether you are pausing during the day or winding down before sleep, helping you feel more relaxed, restored and at ease.

This meditation supports relaxation, stress relief and deep rest.

Chapters:

00:00 – Introduction

00:15 – Why we come to meditation

00:34 – A state of deep rest

00:45 – Taking time to rest

00:55 – The bell

01:10 – Arriving gently

02:00 – Sitting in relaxed awareness

03:05 – Three deep breaths

04:05 – Releasing tension in the jaw

04:35 – Opening and softening

04:55 – Yawning and letting go

05:25 – Shoulders and upper body

06:00 – Circling the shoulders

06:35 – Moving through the spine

07:05 – Supporting the lower back

07:55 – Awareness of the feet

08:08 – Releasing tension in the toes

08:35 – Noticing the body now

08:57 – Awareness of the breath

09:40 – Resting deeply

10:00 – Calm moving through the body

11:05 – Three final breaths

12:10 – Returning awareness

12:55 – Closing bell

","author_name":"Cutdown Studios"}
