Today I’m joined by Lucy to hear the story of her first birth; from her waters unexpectedly breaking to navigating pressure to be induced when she knew it wasn’t right for her.
A few days later, Lucy went into spontaneous labour, but faced further challenges when she could no longer birth in the birthing centre and encountered some difficult interactions with midwives and consultants.
Despite everything not going quite to plan, Lucy trusted herself and went on to have a straightforward and positive birth.
