The Toronto Maple Leafs have plenty of questions to answer after another frustrating loss to the Buffalo Sabres, but none bigger than Jim Hiller's handling of Gavin McKenna. Dan Riccio, Lindsay Dunn, and Brent Albrecht break down Hiller's decision to bench the young star, his explanation for the move, and whether the Maple Leafs are making life harder than it needs to be for their prized rookie. The crew also discusses Kirill Marchenko's hat trick, Auston Matthews' performance, John Tavares' frightening collision with Josh Norris, and the continued struggles of Toronto's defensive core. Plus, the latest Leafs trade news and whether the pressure is starting to build on Hiller. At 10:30 AM ET, NHL.com Islanders reporter Stefen Rosner joins the show to preview Saturday night's matchup between the Maple Leafs and New York Islanders. Later, the crew shifts to the NBA, including the Toronto Raptors' preseason, Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers, and the latest around the league. Plus, WTF Friday and much more!
