But this year, Alex Murdaugh's wife Maggie and son Paul were killed. At the time, Paul was awaiting trial for a 2019 boat crash that killed his friend. Two more deaths are being investigated in connection to the family, including their housekeeper who fell to her death, resulting in a wrongful death suit that was never paid out to her family.
