For others, the job demands you work anyway, or you are joining us from outside the States where it’s a standard, high-velocity start to the workweek.</p><p>But regardless of your checklist, the human brain does the exact same thing: it lives in the immediate future, running through scenarios and bracing for impact before the day has even truly begun. In this 10-minute Mindfulness Monday session, we use a classic psychological tool called attentional shifting.
