This week on AMPLIFIED, System of a Down's latest concert announcement raises a question: How many times can a band tour the same songs before it's time to make something new? Plus, Knocked Loose's Brian Garris has some unexpected dream collaborators, and producer Andrew Watt shares a touching story about his final moments with Ozzy Osbourne—and the music that may still be waiting to be heard.
I've also got three Picks of the Week, including something dark and atmospheric, an unexpected electronic discovery, and a 25-year-old metal masterpiece.
And somehow, a frustrating experiment with AI turns into a confession about throwing weed whackers across people's lawns.
