A few years ago I designed a tattoo for my boyfriend after our first trip together to the Amazon jungle, where he grew up. It became one of the pieces that changed my career. Two years ago, someone sent me a video of an artist in Iran who had copied that exact design. And for the first time, I didn't feel robbed. I felt proud.
In this episode I talk about what it really means when someone copies your work, why creating from scarcity keeps us stuck, and why gratitude might be the thing we skip most on our way to the next goal. I also share a bit about growing up in a small town in Colombia, and what it took to build a career I never imagined possible.
