Meanwhile, America’s farmers and truckers are discovering that 'drill, baby, drill' isn’t quite as comforting when the petrol pump starts hurting.


But there are rays of light. Trump’s approval rating is tanking, the media are beginning to push back, and Zohran Mamdani appears to have discovered the revolutionary concept of making competent politics look extremely attractive.
