Or is there a darker explanation behind one of Britain's most famous paranormal mysteries?

This week on Killers, Cults & Queens, Nikki and Cheryl are joined by comedian, writer and horror enthusiast Robin Ince to investigate the chilling history of Borley Rectory — the infamous Essex house that became synonymous with ghost sightings, unexplained noises and terrifying tales of the supernatural which need to be heard to be believed.

Built beside an ancient church in the small Essex hamlet of Borley, this imposing Victorian rectory was reportedly plagued by paranormal activity for decades.
