This week, the Spotlight On Springfield is turned on none other than Bart Simpson himself. In a head-to-head that is likely to stir up dim memories of even dimmer school debates, we discuss whether or not he is on the side of the angels. Armed with a clutch of classic episodes each, Michael and Ian debate whether Bart’s caring and sensitive side generally holds sway or whether, like George Thorogood before him, he truly is “bad to the bone”.
