Originally, we planned to return by car, but we pushed ourselves to ride home by bike turning it into a real <strong>sporting challenge</strong>.</p><p>We rode for 8 hours and 40 minutes (10h40 with breaks), got lost a few times trying to avoid traffic, ate simple meals on the go (croissants, salads, candy, quiche, raspberry tart...), and had lots of laughs.</p><p>Neither of us are regular cyclists, but with a solid base in general fitness, we made it and even pushed the route from 116 to <strong>exactly 120 km</strong>, just for the satisfaction.
