On this weeks episode, I am joined by the wonderful Penny, Jo and Helen who have been fighting for over 30 years to get answers and be heard in relation to their Sister/Aunts unsolved murder.
Joy Hewer was just 52 when she was murdered in her own home on the evening of 17th October 1995 - Joy was a private and security conscious person, who had a small circle of friends, she was a devout christian, a teacher and spent time volunteering. There was no sign of forced entry meaning that it must have been someone close to Joy who is responsible.
Joy's story is easy to \"research\" - but the story you get in the newspapers and Crimewatch is actually very different to what happened to her.
Over the next three episodes, Penny, Jo and Helen decide now is the time to really tell all on the case, from the police failings, the theories and what really happened to Joy.
