Welcome to \"Talking about Strokes\", a podcast designed to provide comfort, friendship, and support for stroke survivors, their families, carers and friends.
Hosted by Paul Quinn, who had two strokes in July and August 2023, its aim is to compliment other forms of peer to peer support by including, as guests, fellow stroke survivors, their friends, families and carers, plus from time to time stroke care professionals including doctors, therapists and other medical professionals.
Hopefully we can produce shows that entertain, inform and provide evidence that whilst stroke does have huge consequences, life after stroke can offer new opportunities including the opportunity to support and be supported by other stroke survivors
