This week the review and recap the 2026 Indycar season. Looking back, we can see a few phrases kept cropping up: “Malukas comes second again”, “Rahal’s somehow in third again”, “Sting Ray’s in the way again”, and “how has Palou got away with it again”. Despite not being quite as dominant as last year and making a few more mistakes than last year, Palou just kept extending his lead as his rivals would step up one week and fall away the next. We try to say something about each race, before rating each driver’s season as good, bad, or mid, which was sometimes difficult as we had completely forgotten a few drivers were even in the series this year.
