Changeable weather conditions led to an apparently nervous Lando Norris defenestrating himself pre-race to reach the track, although more likely it was just to avoid Craig Slater. We also learnt that Max Verstappen signed a new 3 year deal with Red Bull this week which apparently included the option to watch the race from the pitlane if he so wishes. In Indycar, while there were ELMS and IMSA races this weekend, the real endurance racing was to be found in DC, as the length of the race was exhausting. There was no doubt that only an American racer would be allowed to win. So, the only question was which one of the eight American-born drivers would it be (although not even the Deep State could manufacture a Sting-Ray Robb victory).

Music provided by Sascha Ende under the CC BY 4.0 license: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license

","author_name":"The Outside Line Podcast"}
