They discuss teacher training, safeguarding and teaching children about AI, alongside the potential for personalised learning and real-time feedback. </p><p><br></p><p>Their conversation also highlights why stakeholder involvement matters. Hollie’s experience of implementing AI in a real school environment raises important questions for Nick’s research, from how AI tutors should respond to children’s developmental needs to how technology can support learning without replacing teachers, peer interaction or hands-on experiences. </p><p><br></p><p>“In Dialogue with Stakeholders” captures these conversations to show how researchers and stakeholders can work together from the outset, bringing different expertise and perspectives to research and helping shape its potential for impact beyond academia. </p><p><br></p><p>You can read a transcript of the conversation <a href=\"https://1drv.ms/b/c/78a938171475c335/IQBoui5ahoOKQIgFNYe9OMywAQQk6_RNhkTpS1rA9tkt678?e=1lBBSO\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">here</a>. </p><p><br></p><p>Find out more about the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership at <a href=\"https://southcoastdtp.ac.uk/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">southcoastdtp.ac.uk</a> </p><p><br></p><p>This is a <a href=\"https://researchpodcasts.co.uk/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Research Podcasts</a> production. </p><p><strong> </strong> </p><p><strong>Credits:</strong> </p><p><strong>Presenter and Producer:</strong> <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/cathmcd11/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Catherine McDonald</a>, Research Podcasts </p><p><strong>Guests: </strong><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/nickhuxley/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Nick Huxley,</a> University of Brighton; <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/holliebenfield/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Hollie Benfield</a>, Knockhall Primary School </p><p><strong>Video and Audio Editor:</strong> <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/alex-canner/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Canner</a>, Research Podcasts </p><p><strong>Transcripts</strong>: <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/lauren-white-1a585a41/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Lauren White</a>, Research Podcasts </p>","author_name":"The South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership"}
