There's regular martial arts and there is the dream of martial arts. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon definitely encompasses the latter. Watching combatants fly through the air with ease as they run across rooftops and sometimes straight up a wall. We've covered a bit of a love story on this show so far, but nothing quite like this. A visual spectacle that truly showcases the best of Asian cinema at the time, this movie broke through the western wall without compromising itself. It's a love story, a revenge story, and a pretty dang great fighting movie. It was hard to rate one actor in this movie since we got to see three of them absolutely own this film.
