It's been one of those weeks, and frankly, we're just happy to be here.
Erin narrowly survives an assassination attempt involving her mother, a spider and a moving vehicle, while Bronte continues the agonising wait for news on the job front.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor's Handbag saga takes another ridiculous turn, Meghan's back with more jam-related nonsense, and we're both recommending pickle Twisties as a gift to humanity.
In 'What's for Dinner', Bronte's dishing up a comforting chicken stew (and poaching chicken for his toothless dog), while Erin discovers a cracking asparagus omelette thanks to Cookidoo AI. We also share some lovely listener feedback on the ordinary things you're doing with your Thermomix.
And just when we think we're wrapping things up, Erin's phone rings. It's Bronte's prospective employer, calling for a character reference. DURING THE BLOODY PODCAST.
Does she give him a glowing review? Does he get the job? And should anyone really be trusting Erin with this level of responsibility?
Has Erin secured Bronte's future or single-handedly destroyed his career prospects? Tune in next week for the thrilling conclusion of Desperately Seeking Employment! 🤣
