In this episode of the Beyond Bedales podcast, Old Bedalians and sibling duo Laura and Freddie Wise talk to fellow alumna Sofia GM about their audio drama, Beatrice Hart and the Curse of the Golden Fleece. From first idea to final cut, they share the inspiration behind the series and the creative journey of bringing it to life.
Drawing on their backgrounds in journalism and acting, Laura and Freddie teamed up to create an adventure serial set in 1930s Britain. Driven by memories of getting lost in the world of Tintin and Philip Pullman, and car journeys listening to audio dramas with their Dad, they shared an ambition to spark imagination and bring families together through storytelling.
All episodes of Beatrice Hart and the Curse of the Golden Fleece are available on major audio platforms, with a second series already in the works.
