有三隻老鼠一起去偷油吃，
但是，油缸裡的油只剩下底部的一點點，
油缸很高，他們吃不到。
於是，他們想出一個辦法，
一隻咬著另外一隻的尾巴，
吊著下去吃。
第一隻吃完了上來，再換第二隻下去吃，
大家輪流，就能吃到油。
最先下去的老鼠心想 :
「只有這麼一點點油，我自己全部吃完吧!」
中間的那隻老鼠心想:
「只有這麼一點點油，
如果都讓他們吃完了，我吃什麼呢?
還是放開他，自己跳下去吃吧!」
最上面的老鼠心想:
「只有這麼一點點油，
輪到我的時候，早就被他們吃光了!
還是放開他們，自己跳下去吃吧!」
於是，中間的老鼠放開了下面那隻老鼠的尾巴，
上面的老鼠放開了下面那隻老鼠的尾巴，
都想自己跳下去。
結果，「噗通、噗通、噗通!」
三隻老鼠全都掉進了油缸裡，
身體變得又黏又滑，
誰也逃不出來。
三隻老鼠都很後悔自己不該這個貪心。
