A campaign group says Ireland’s inheritance tax system is unfairly penalising people without children, as the Government considers possible changes ahead of October’s Budget.
The End Discrimination in Inheritance Tax Campaign Group argues that the current rules place an unfair burden on people leaving assets to nieces, nephews or other close relatives, and is calling for a fairer system.
