In the summer of 2012, 23-year-old Natalie Jarvis was enjoying life in Swanley, Kent. Outgoing, funny and hugely sociable, Natalie had a close family, a large circle of friends and a job she loved, but behind the scenes, she had become involved with a young man she had known for several years, and what Natalie believed was a relationship would eventually take a far darker turn.
In the weeks that followed, messages and conversations began to reveal a disturbing side to what was happening behind Natalie's back. She had no idea what was being said about her, or what was being planned, and on the evening of October 3, 2012, she left her family home believing she was simply going out for a short meet up with Adam Whelehan. What followed would lead to a major murder investigation in which forensic evidence, digital communications and a reconstruction of the events that unfolded on a quiet country road in Kent led to the arrest and conviction of Natalie's killer.
