On this Friday-style episode of Living on the Virg, I’m easing into the day with a little bit of everything: real life, what I’m watching, what I’m not, and what’s catching my attention right now.
I start with a very real reminder that just because you think you’re back to normal doesn’t mean your body is ready yet. After a productive reset day, a late-night “normal” meal, and a rough night of stomach pain and a migraine-style headache, I found myself sitting with the frustration of having to slow down again. That turned into a bigger reflection on the in-between spaces in life — those moments when you’re not where you were, but not fully where you’re going either.

And for this week’s Winos on the Virg, I’m sharing details on the upcoming Big Red Fest on the De Portola Wine Trail and a few tips if you’ve never done a wine trail event before.
