In the meantime, we present to you a special BONUS episode from our alternate-universe archives.</p><p><br></p><p>In this other universe, I hosted a show called \"The Dead Pixels Podcast\" with a friend I met in the Sterling/Jonathan \"Shattered\" community. This show aimed to find the best qualities of bad and underrated games, and find out what made them special even if the end-result was less-than-ideal. In this decade-old episode, we covered one of my favorite overlooked gems: <em>Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon</em> for the Nintendo 64.</p><p><br></p><p>This bizarre Japanese period piece featured very early Mario/Zelda hybrid gameplay, along with an incredible soundtrack, served alongside a heaping helping of wacky, borderline-surreal humor.
