With three features under her belt, she's experienced every stage of the process. We're excited to dive into the lessons she's learned along the way, how her perspective has evolved from one feature to the next, and what it really feels like to send your work out into the world. Whether you're dreaming of directing your first feature or you're already deep in the process, this conversation is full of insight from a filmmaker who's been there.

Rachel Israel is a New York-based writer and director. Her feature debut, KEEP THE CHANGE, world-premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, where it won Best U.S. Narrative Feature and Best New Narrative Feature Director. She has taught filmmaking at Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts and Rhode Island School of Design.
