From building the schedule to bridging communication between departments to keeping the entire shoot on track — the First AD is absolutely invaluable.</p><p><br></p><p>On “Turns Out It’s the Apocalypse… We Think,” our First AD was Ryan Cagle, and hot damn were we lucky to have him. Indie filmmaking means rolling with the punches, and Ryan was there every step of the way, making sure we still made our day despite all the curveballs thrown at us. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Ryan Cagle</strong> is freshly out of college and is very excited to get the ball rolling in his film career. During his time in college and post-college, Ryan has been on over 40 short film sets, and this production will be his 5th feature film! Ryan was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, before making his way to the University of Alabama. He has a passion for all sides of film.
