Join us for the fifth episode of Bristol Data Stories, where we talk to Becky Collins, who is a physical geographer and river scientist, currently a Lecturer in the School of Geographical Sciences at the University of Bristol. Becky discusses her interest in rivers, how they shape landscapes, and her use of the School of Geographical Sciences' state-of-the-art laser scanner. Becky also shares her non-traditional route into academia, from returning to university later in life to completing a self-funded, part-time PhD during the COVID-19 pandemic.
