He reprised his performance at Regent's Park multiple times and also played Judas in the production's US tour.</p><p><br></p><p>Last year Tyrone played Simon in the Hollywood Bowl revival of <em>Jesus Christ Superstar,</em> whilst also understudying Cynthia Erivo in the role of Jesus.</p><p><br></p><p>His theatre credits include Barnaby Tucker in&nbsp;<em>Hello, Dolly!</em>&nbsp;(London Palladium), Che in&nbsp;<em>Evita</em>&nbsp;(Curve Leicester), Jordan in&nbsp;<em>Living Newspaper</em>&nbsp;(Royal Court), Hunter in&nbsp;<em>[title of show]</em>&nbsp;(London Coliseum), Wes in&nbsp;<em>The View UpStairs</em>&nbsp;(Soho Theatre), Obi in&nbsp;<em>Leave to Remain</em>&nbsp;(Lyric Hammersmith), C.C. White in&nbsp;<em>Dreamgirls</em>&nbsp;(Savoy Theatre), Gator in&nbsp;<em>Memphis</em>(Shaftesbury Theatre),&nbsp;<em>Porgy and Bess</em>&nbsp;(Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), Seaweed in&nbsp;<em>Hairspray</em>&nbsp;(Curve Leicester), Doctor in&nbsp;<em>The Book of Mormon</em>&nbsp;(Prince of Wales Theatre) and TJ in&nbsp;<em>Sister Act</em>&nbsp;(UK &amp; Ireland Tour).</p><p><br></p><p>As a director, Tyrone made his debut with&nbsp;<em>Ain't Misbehavin'</em>, which played at Mercury Theatre Colchester and Southwark Playhouse, before joining the creative team of&nbsp;<em>The Drifters Girl</em>&nbsp;as Associate Director.</p><p><br></p><p>In this episode, Tyrone takes a deep dive into what it takes for him to play such a hugely demanding role – and the crazy path of his<em> Jesus Christ Superstar</em> journey. He also discusses his reunion with Cynthia Erivo, his move to LA and lots more.</p><p><br></p><p>discusses returning to Judas and reflects on how his portrayal of the role has evolved over the years.
